Katie Huey

Writer

Katie juggles as an administrator, master scheduler, wife and daughter by day, and as a writer by night. She has spent the last seven years using her words to explore the mysterious mix of dark and light in a hurting world. She believes in the power of seeking beauty right alongside acknowledging and honoring the pain of the human experience. Her blog, 52 Beautiful Things, narrates her on-going encounters with good and beautiful things and is in the process of being turned into a book. She frequently speaks about her experience with grief in the workplace and creating connection when healing. Her writing has been featured in Conscious Company Magazine, Hello Humans, and Invoke Magazine.

To send the texts, and express your love, and ask for what you need. At the end of the day, I only want to influence real. Real is beautiful.”
