Drumming Circle: Reuniting in Rhythm
June 23 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
A Family-Friendly Drum Circle
Join Djembe Jive founder, Nancy Brauhn-Curnes, and friends for an evening packed with high energy and great rhythmic grooves, all practiced in a safe and appropriate, socially distanced way. Persons of all ages and abilities are invited to attend this community event but will be limited to 50 people.
We warmly invite you to join us. Registration is required on-line or in person. We will be enforcing a mask requirement, 50 person capacity limit, 6 ft social distancing, touch-less temperature checks, hand sanitation, and have gloves available. Sterilized drums and instruments will be available for all. This event will be live streamed if you feel unable to join us in person.
Frame drummers, Conga drummers, Doumbek drummers, Djembe drummers, Dancers and Hoopers, come play, dance! Drumming is proven to release stress, reduce anxiety, lower blood pressure, and increase endorphins — something we could all use right now!
Donations are welcome, but are not required to register. Registration for this event is now closed! We have filled all 50 slots and are ‘Sold Out.’ Please contact [email protected] to be placed on our waitlist. You may also contact us on Tuesday, June 23rd to confirm that all spaces are still filled.
Registration is required.
