Dynamics: I saw how fragile and infinitely precious our world is
June 29 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Join us for a tribute to former NASA Astronaut and climate scientist Piers Sellers by his colleagues David Randall and Compton Tucker. Experience the world premiere of artistic director Bruce Adolphe’s I saw how fragile and infinitely precious our world is, based on the words spoken by the late astronaut and scientist Piers Sellers as the inspiration and focus of an innovative work combining mezzo-soprano, cello, sounds of space, and sounds of the human body.
Stay for a panel discussion on Piers Sellers, moderated by Bruce Adolphe, with David Randall, Kate Doyle, Scott Denning, Compton Tucker and Inez Fung focusing on astronaut and climate scientist Piers Sellers’ message to the world from space, his legacy of advocacy, and how we can respond to his call to action as individuals and as a community.
VIP wine and food reception and the opportunity to meet our scientists and musicians included with appropriate ticket.
