Carly Gilliland is passionate about creating a world of inclusivity and accessibility. She believes music is for everyone, regardless of background and social identity. Carly is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Music Therapy at Colorado State University. As a music therapist, Carly will help individuals address their strengths and needs through the use of evidence-based music experiences.
Carly has been a music instructor, teaching both violin and guitar lessons, since 2018. She loves providing the tools for students to find their own connection with music, which could last a lifetime. Carly has experience playing in symphonic orchestras, chamber ensembles, and rock/folk bands. She enjoys songwriting, performing, and recording. You can find her original music online as Carly Anne.
Carly’s other passions include nature, sustainability, and art. She loves observing plants, animals, and the night sky. She enjoys hiking, skiing, scuba diving, and skateboarding, as well as watercolor painting and reading.
