Sharing the Magic of Music

Musical experiences for kids and adults that spark imagination, learning, and pure joy

Off the Hook Arts brings the joy of learning music to children in the Fort Collins-Loveland-Windsor-Wellington region who may otherwise not be able to afford it. For kids who dream of making music, we provide the instruments, the teachers, and the opportunity to learn all that music can teach us. For many, this enrichment is truly life-changing.

The earlier children are exposed to music education, the more they benefit. As kids practice and improve, they think more creatively — and not just about music. They absorb many lessons with lifelong value. Their self-confidence builds. And before long, they are doing better in school and becoming more grounded, and emotionally and socially mature human beings.

To fund our programs, we present public music events through our Music Tour Series and our Music Spoke Concert Series. The Music Tour Series consists of engaging, interactive, and thoroughly delightful events featuring renowned Colorado performers in a wide variety of genres.

Our June based summer music festival, Music Spoke, is a cross-disciplinary event that brings world-class local and international musicians, along with experts in the sciences and arts. Enhancing the several concert offerings are presentations that invite us to relate their discussions to the festival music, connecting the dots between our emotional and cerebral connection to world class performances.

The Music Tour Series and Music Spoke Concert Series of classical, jazz, and world music enliven the fabric of musical life in our community, offering all who love music fresh ways to learn about and be inspired by it.
