Off the Hook Arts’ SummerFest presents a new addition to our Summer Kids line-up this June. We combine STEM and the Arts in these storytelling, music and science-design oriented workshop. Led by professional engineers, musician and storyteller, our STE(A)M2 (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math and Music) Workshops explore the building of a Rube Goldberg type musical sound producing machine that are incorporated into a musical storytelling — all generated by the kids. Both day’s events culminate in a performance showcase at the STE(A)M2 Design Faire on Friday June 24th that invites inventors, crafters and the Rocky Mountain Woodturners in a STE(A)M oriented hands-on, outdoor fair on the Old Town Library Park block. (Don’t miss your opportunity to turn your own pen with the guided help of the Rocky Mountain Woodtuners.)
