Peter Goggin is one of the new dynamic and individual jazz artists to emerge on the Twin Cities music scene. After spending time at the University of Michigan, he returned to the Twin Cities to work as a performing saxophonist, educator, and composer. He's recorded with multiple groups, most notably on Hoaxer's album "Crash Test" (2017). He's performed multiple times in the Twin Cities and Detroit Jazz Festivals, and was a representative at the IASJ's 2019 international Jazz Meeting in Zagreb, Croatia. Peter has studied with Andrew Bishop, Robert Hurst, Miles Okazaki, and Benny Green-- all of whom have left an indelible impact on his approach towards the study and creation of music.
