Event Volunteering

Have a special skill? Let us know! Want to stay behind the scenes? We’d love to have you.

Community support from volunteers is critical to the success of our organization. People like you are what help us present the concerts and festivals that generate crucial revenue for our music education programs.

Even if you have only a couple of hours a week or a single day(s) during Music Spoke Concert Series or Music Tours Events, we need you! Listed are some of the volunteer jobs that we need filled throughout the year

  • Social Media Ambassadors
  • Marketing help
  • Graphic design
  • Photographers
  • Writers – from helping us tell our story to grant writing
  • Videographers
  • Administrative Support
  • Event Coordinators
  • Set-up/clean-up
  • Technical Support
Chamber Music Academy Violin - Off the Hook Arts

At our outdoor concert series and festival events we especially need event volunteers for videography, set-up, check-in, and managing the beverage station. We’d love to have you join us – plus attending the event for which you volunteer is free! Please contact us at  [email protected] or use SignUpGenius to volunteer for specific events.

    Board of Directors

We are always looking to expand the expertise within our Board of Directors.

Our Board meets monthly; fundraising, community relations, program reviews, event planning, technology implementation, and financials are some of the topics addressed during those meetings. Board members usually commit 3-4 hours per month in addition to the board meeting.

If you have questions about joining our Board of Directors, please contact Executive Director Jephta Bernstein at [email protected]. If you are interested in applying, fill out the application below and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

      Board Member Application

Are you prepared to dedicate time to prepare and attend Board meetings, contribute to events and to fund-raising for a period of two years? Commitment is a semi-monthly 2 hour board meeting, participation in at least one committee including ad hoc festival committees (may be several hours a week during Festival preparation and attending the Festival events). Can you commit?
